The Bean on 2nd is the best coffee place in town . The atmosphere is mellow and the drinks are great. Also live local music in evenings. Free wi-fi and comfy setting with outside.

Lots of hassle to connecting to the wi-fi now & half the time it never connects, just says "pending..." forever. Look, just tell the creepy guy who wears shorts year-round to STOP w/ the Warcraft.

This is the first Beanery. Its original location up till the late '70s was somewhere on Monroe Avenue. The 500 SW 2nd space was a camping/vacation goods shop before the Beanery moved in.

Coffee ! Chill atmosphere. I think they have board games available to use.

I am having a hard time adjusting to the new seating arrangement; more open, but seems like fewer places to sit, especially alone.

If you care about such things, should think about bringing your own cup, even when ordering to stay.

They make an excellent breakfast sandwich . Their honey-chipotle cream cheese is fantastic, too. Great food selection.

He workers are amazing!

They removed all the power strips and make you renew your internet access. Not good for doing homework anymore.

Not sure what they’re going for decoration-wise, but the cobwebs and coffee stains on the walls are not welcoming.
