Recently been redone at the hands of Kirkstall Brewery . Classy take on an old-style boozer, not too many frills but a very good spread of beers (Jakehead from Wylam)

This place is unchanged for decades with its elaborate decor. Great that these old pubs are preserved. Highly recommend a visit.

Kirkstall have done a good job of preserving the character of this pub whilst bringing to it an ace beer selection . Food’s not bad either!

Big selection of ales in a traditional Victorian setting (lots of cask + keg + bottles). Food looks good too.

Redone old pub with plenty of authentic feel. Great beer list not the cheapest but worth it

Cheesy fries are fantastic!
