Pay up front. Expect no frills. Go family style to try lots of delicious South Indian dishes - masala dosa , chittanadu lamb , kerala chicken , biryani , idly w/ chutney - everything was delicious.

Serious Eats

If you're used to the classic sweet mango lassi , try one of their alternative options: spicy , buttermilk , or salty.

Justin Grevich

A nice change from most of the other Indian restaurants in the area. The chicken 65 and coconut lamb are my main stays here.

Lynn Marshall

Amazing food. Best dosas I've had outside India. Very basic setting, but who cares?

Kaushik Shankar

South Indian cuisine is a rarity in Seattle—this restaurant is the only one you’ll find. Food quality is above average but service quality and accommodations are below average.

Gautam Ravi

Sambar Vada and Egg Biryani were awesome

Senthil Chandran

Great puttu, uppma and fish fry . All the dishes here are so good that it might tempt you to order more, watch out :D

Amol Patil

Good food and top of that they play B4U music . So nostalgic.

Nikhil J

The Poori and Chana masala is really good

Marissa B

Delicious and enormous South Indian thali meals. Also great dosas .

Othapam was great, as was the goat thali .

Mary Wong

Best South Indian restaurant near downtown Seattle.

Rati Mansinghka Bansal

SHITTY place. Horrible servers & owner lady is really rude. I was alone and she asked me to move to a smaller table while I was eating. I could see her acting differently with groups and white people.

Lakshmi N

Nope. Not going here again. The fish curry had too much tamarind . Kerala parottas are supposed to be flaky.Mutton curry was..how do I put it..Meh! & for the best biriyani try the one from "Mayuri".

Jerry Traunfeld, chef of Poppy , eats here on his nights off. He loves the Dosas . Read more

Get the Uttapam or Masala Dosa , they're the best in Seattle. Chili 's is also the best South Indian overall in Seattle too!
