they make the best savoury slices. a mushroom & a spinach with garlic one. pastry is cross-hatched on top with poppy seeds all over. they are delicious warm if you're up early on a weekend morning. ^^

Have searched Melbourne for the best Danish & have found Filou's. I go nowhere else anymore. Rustic Generous, fully cooked to biscuit for crispness. But be early to get Cherry &.Pain d' raisin

Try the mushroom slice, the chocolate eclairs , creme brûlée when they have it (not often), chocolate truffles & the cheesecake . Best bakery in all of Carlton!
