Here's an actual tip: ask them for a list of ALL the things you need. Every single thing that they need for your car to get out.
Honestly, you're the one that parked illegally. Don't be a jerk to the people just doing their job. Ask how their day is going, be nice.
Impounds suck, this one did too, but it could have been worse. It'll go easier if you're patient and nice to the employees. It wouldn't suck so much if the "illegal" parking I did had been clear
They conveniently tow your car somewhere you can't access by public transportation and although they are run by the City of Chicago they can't check your registration with the city Police Department.
Play nice with the employees... they're not the one's who parked illegally.. they can make your day even worse.
This is one place you DON'T want to check-in at, not to mention be the mayor of (no offense to the current mayor).
Try your best to be patient.
It's like visiting a hell where the souls (workers) resent you as if you had been the one to damn them there
Don't forget to smile.
This place sucks all the time especially when it's raining out. Super muddy
Stick it to the motherfucking man and seriously find ways to protest the City of Shitcago's towing
Love this place!
This place is where hopes and dreams go to die.
Nightmare is an understatement.
If I'm the mayor here, does that make me the mayor of chicago?
Here working every day towing cars.
Hell is an impound.
This is hell
This place is a dump . I know we're all parking 'criminals,' but even the drunk tank or a holding cell has to look better than this.
Avoid at all costs.
they suck.
