Say yes to the Sangria ! And ask Seth to make you a mixed drink shot! Seth is such a knowledge and tentative bartender . My boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed our everything Church had to offer.
It's a mocking place, very chilled, music playing, cheap drinks , and it gets crowded later on the night. It is worth the visit for the fun. And they have ping pong tables upstairs and Wed karaokes
The confessional on the first floor is a vintage 1800s piece from Yugoslavia & also serves as a photo booth . Get your picture taken in what is probably the only Confessional Photo Booth in the world!
The most fun can be had at this bar . It's as if Tim Burton and Jon Waters decided to open up a fun house bar . There are games in the upstairs , a small back area and church robes ready to be worn.
The wall art is truly amazing, upstairs and down, some is very funny and imaginative. At the same time I was there on a summer Sunday evening and it was actually rather quiet and low key .
This is my go-to spot in ATL. The art is amazing and ping pong is great. Drinks are just standard.
Everything. The staff , the people/regulars, the sangrias , the church organ karaoke , the atmosphere, the patio , the art and the ping-pong.
I really really wish this bar lived in Williamsburg. Go for the props, the Jesus portraits, the cheap drinks , the great music , the conversation about the universe . Upstairs loo = gross.
Fun place to go with your friends. Cheap beer of PBR tallboys for $4 and fireball shots! And the artwork here will keep you and your friends entertained all night!
PBR ping pong challenge, Win by finishing first, + a number of rules that include but are not limited to drinking after each point score, slam dunk, and or Hail Mary. Winners enjoy instant salvation.
Cheap drinks , friendly staff , ping pong , church organ karaoke , crazy and eclectic decorations ... One foursquare post isn't enough to do this place justice, just getcher @$$ to CHURCH !
Fun to watch the amateur ping pong tournaments. Gets a bit cramped later in the night, but open real late. Spend some time looking at all the crazy Jesus memorabilia .
Love this place! Its so random. The music went from Nirvana to Two Chainz. Ping pong upstairs . They have choir robes you can wear.
Pretty cool bar . Very spacious so you can chill and have good conversations. Wish they had more than one ping pong table though.
The drinks were nice and the bartenders were surprisingly friendly . It is a hipster haven but fun and organ karaoke was a blast. Not for biblical literalists.
This is my new fave spot! Friendly staff , amazing things to look at , and try the Captain Crunch Krispy Treat. When your done downstairs go upstairs for a round of pingpong ! Ammmeeennnnnn!
Make sure to LOOK UP and notice the crazy stuff on the ceiling. Like the Peewee Herman nun mannequin wearing roller skates and a strap-on.
Take 'em to Church . Cool vibe, but there can be lots of students some nights. This is a must for any Atlanta visitor.
Very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. No food but they let you bring / order your own.
This place reminds me of Austin, TX! You can spend the entire night looking at the artwork on the walls...and not because the arts pretty!
Grab a couple of free Sister Louisa postcards at the downstairs bar and frame them for some twisted artwork.
Get the sangria ! Nice and strong. Make sure to eat the fruit as well , it's like taking a shot!
Don't come expecting food. Unless u want rice crispy treat or hot dog . Other than that fun place. Catholics beware u may feel guilt from church like lights and art , have a few & u won't mind
Come here for the decor, must see.
Don't miss the most reverend DJ Vicki P and her flock of misfits at the monthly Sunday Service from spring to fall
Love the art and decor but the upstairs is crazy cramped which makes it impossible to play darts or ping pong . Fun atmosphere though...
Sample the tasty Fontis Water upstairs !
Ping pong , darts , and the Antichrist.
Grab some whiskey and read everything on the walls. You'll die laughing. #fuckfear
A little overrated but an enjoyable place to get a drink. Cheap PBR . Don't go and expect to be able to play ping pong if it's after 7 pm.
This place only works if you love buying surrounded by huge loud groups of strangers.
Cash is Christ the King at Church ! Paying with actual dollars gets you quicker service and drinks! ATM located in the back!
Really cool vibe.
The Terrapin beer rocks! A local brew .
Order a Fruit Salad . You won't regret it (until tomorrow).
Drink refreshing Fontis Water while you're upstairs . It's holy!
Definitely try the sangria ! Comes with a delicious fruit salad on top :)
Everything
Best bar in Atlanta. No doubts.
Hands down best bar , ever.
Ping pong . And karaoke with "pipe organ " accompaniment;)
Go on Sundays for Church Organ Community Karaoke (and Preach-It!)
Must-do in ATL
$4 pints are good
Very cool decorations
Do it. Duh.
Sangria is heavenly
Sam's an awesome bartender !
If ur scurred go to CHURCH !
Try the Hoegaärden tallboys !
The angus burger is easily one of the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and order one! - Kristina LaPlant
Hummus plate is to die for! Great spot for drinks after work, if you can handle the smoke. - Amber Schreiner
The dancers are not obnoxious and entertaining. The music is great and there is two dance areas for you to enjoy. It’s a must do in Atlanta and so much fun. - Wendy
Great place to hang out and play some old school arcade video games. They also have a selection of fun board games to play. The drinks are decently priced and they have some special cocktails. - Mario Perez
