Very nice rooms, view of the lakeshore and the navy pier , close to shopping areas, valet, bar , breakfast , living room, spa , penthouse event rooms. Polite staff , amazing decor!

Got an upgrade to a suite. It was modern, trendy and spacious with excellent view of the river through multiple windows. The gym at the hotel can be definitely renovated.

On a nice day, the rocking chairs on the Lakeshore side of the hotel are the perfect spot to unwind and people-watch... nice alternative to the jazzed-up "living room" (a.k.a. lobby).

Great location for exploring both the Loop and Near North. Hotel is showing its age, but it's still comfortable and quiet . Loved the lake view room .

One of the older W properties visited so far. Staff is super polite, the facilities are not up to par but the price consequent. Location is great for a relaxed stay.

Cool view if u get lake view room , great security, quiet . No breakfasts , expensive bar menu. Perfect location if u like shopping and hanging out in downtown.

Find a package with parking included, or there are plenty of less expensive parking structures within walking distance, or you'll pay $63.00 to park here. Lakeview rooms of Lake Michigan are great!

Maybe 10 years ago it was hip decor and super cool. Seems worn out and sort of cheesy. Very Ikea feeling. Great walkable location. Beautiful view . Room was dingy with very thin walls.

Lake view rooms are amazing. Take home all Bliss supplies - the lotion makes your skin feel like baby butt. Amazing face wash too. Rooms are slick and classy .

Love, look, location & views on lakeside. Security failed with room doors not closing. Didn't honour free internet including w/booking. Took a month to reply to these issues presented, after my stay.

Some rooms have a great view of Lake Michigan. Friendly staff and well stocked snack room. Easy valet area for taxis/ubers.

It’s in a good location with amazing views of Navy Pier and. A caring staff but the property is so neglected and needs to be refurbished badly.

Rooms were nice, love W toiletries. Elevators are woefully under equipped for the number of people staying here. Check in process also very hectic.

Get a room facing the lake for the 4th of July fireworks-ours was on the 18th floor and we could see the show clearly.

Tell them you are going for a run when you check in, they give you a handy little map with milestones up and down the lake to measure your run by.

I love the Spa and had an awesome tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch between spa services.

Amenities are the downside of this hotel . You need to request and served upon availability for refrigerators, coffee machine , even shower caps.

Epic sunrises on the lake view rooms . Get a time lapse software!

This is a great hotel ...ask to upgrade to a lake view as its well worth it. Also check out the sun deck for drinks on the 7th floor when its warm out.

Excellent remodel since last time I was here. Lobby area and rooms are much nicer. Staff seems more helpful as well .

Great hotel and lobby bar . Service at the bar and the gym can improve but otherwise a nice facility.

Make sure to request full line of toiletries with slippers, robes, and water. We had to call the front desk to find out they don't automatically offer these items without guest requests.

Great view of city or Lake Michigan. Rooms comfortable with plenty of seating. No lock on bathroom door.

Location is close to Navy Pier , Oak Street Beach , North Avenue Beach and many other attractions

This hotel was a great deal through spirit airlines . For three people, two rooms for 4 nights, we paid with airplane tickets USD 375.

The gym is pretty decent for a W, but it doesn't merit "fitness center ". Valet is $55/night--worse than NYC.

Upgrade to lakeview, you will see this in the (early) morning.
