Great food and excellent value, but wrap up warm as it's all outdoor seating . Try the 18 mixed dumplings (£12) - very filling - or the Beijing Zhajiang Sauce Noodles (£6). You can bring your own wine !
large menu to choose from. ive tried dumplings , noodles , pies and soups - all good. soups are huge. BYO has £2/person corkage fee :) cozy homelike atmosphere.
large menu, great dumplings obviously, good prices and BYO option. the owner lady is amazing, remembers me even if i hadn’t visited for months. lovely place.
Preferred their steamed stuff over their fried. Spicy prawn dumplings and veggie steam buns , yum.
The service was quick and steamed dumplings and veg noodles were good.
Spinach in garlic sauce were soooo good!!! I could eat two of them myself
The dumplings certainly made us happy. Be careful as they're a little hot
Good dumplings and quick service
The kind of place you should at least visit once, wouldn't go back. There's plenty of good variety in Brixton Village .
Dumplings , steamed buns , fantastic smiley service
Fried dumplings are good. The boss lady might try to give you something that wasn't ordered *by mistake* and then add it to the bill.
Noodle soup was bland. Dumplings order was totally forgotten. Given some spring rolls as recompense but unlikely to go back until they can handle all the tables they've put out and raised quality.
Everything but real dumplings here. Service was slow and asked twice about our order. Not the best choice in Brixton.
if you're thinking 'let's eat here there's no queue' it's for a reason... be warned!!
Unhappy dumplings . Once batch were undercooked and the other batch were full of gristle.
They got our orders wrong and ended up waiting ages for the food to arrive. Dumplings feel apart as soon as you touched them. The duck was dry as a lone nun and basically; everything tasted like crap.
Not good at all, slow service, stodgy dumplings , everything had an oily gloss to it, even the steam baskets. Mama Lan or Courtesan are better options
To be honest they should change the name to "Sad Dumplings "
Stick to the dumplings . They're great, the rest is pretty average.
HAVE THE DUMPLINGS... seriously
Very poor flavours, extremely slow service, missed one order! The dublings r ok. Sorry but u have to improve everything 3/10
My roasted duck was cold, really small portion, no sides.
Not that great if I'm honest. Had better dim sum and everything tasted either bland or too salty.
Very average dumplings ....
Very nice service. Very bad food.
Very slow service - they forgot to clean the table or give us tissue or plates! Food took ages to come. UnHappy Dumplings ! :(
Wonderful pizza. Every kind is amazing! Salads are also very good! - Flavia Lapis
Great staff and overall great drinks. Grab the caipirinhas freshly done and very very Brazilian. - DrGood Food
Ask the staff for a recommendation to pair with food or just for drinking. - Christopher Doyle
Beef noodles good. Dumplings best I've had in London. Will have to head back to go through rest of menu! - Ashton McGregor
Awesome front window entertainment watch them make handmade dumplings and noodles yum great service not normal of Chinatown! - Yasmine
Great to have a spot like this in E5 / E9. Authentic dim sum, but Shanghai Dalston still pips it for variety and quality (if not for on-trend interior design) - A.
Amazing helpful staff. Went out of their way to identify my needs and make my visit there enjoyable - without even been asked. Thank you so much - Louise Mahon
Awesome redevelopment and fantastic pizza's to go with a great retro cinema experience - Ben Fretwell
Great place for a night out. Good music, lively and lots of beers to choose from - Jackie Brown
