Great little beach away from the buzz and near hurst castle
Love this walk along the spit at Milford down to Hurst Castle . Passing the Keyhaven and the flats to see wadding birds.
Walk all the way to the castle at the end. It's well worth it.
Good food and drinks when longbeach bar is open next to the beach. Brilliant views from their lawn and an amazing sunset on a cloud free day! Great views of Bournemouth. - Phil Gahan
Fascinating to see the different coloured sands and to make a sand ornament in the shop too would go back to go on chairlift as were closed so had to go down chine - Daniel Russell
Great views on a clear day. Well worth spending some time. - William Duckworth
It's a castle within a fortress. Really amazing Second World War history, though a bloody tiring walk from Milford on Sea along all those pebbles - Alistair
An unspoilt part of the south coast… only challenged by nature, that is slowly eroding the coastline. Unfortunately, the number of beach huts has reduced as a result. - Spencer Newsham
Great little bistro for fuelling up before and after the 4mile round trip to Hurst castle and back! - Steve Lyons
