The acoustics in this place are amazing. And you can sit with your own drinks and a picnic . Absolutely fantastic - I would highly recommend going.
Lovely picnic area in the open air theatre compound, bring your own food for a pre-show snack . Restaurant , bar also available for eating and drinking before the show and during the interval.
A wonderful open air theatre space situated in perhaps the most glorious of all of London's parks . Sit and enjoy some seriously enjoyable theatre , drink in hand, as the sun sets behind the stage .
It's an incredible venue, everywhere has a good view but you're up close & personal in the first 5 rows. No cover so make sure you dress for the weather
Amazing venue, "To Kill a mocking bird" is the best play I've seen. You can take a picnic to eat on the grass or picnic benches outside , or at your seats.
This is one of my favorite parks in London! Well conditioned, fabulous and very cozy ! Place which must be visited!
It was my first time at the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park and it was a fantastic venue !
Saw Dinosaur Zoo - brilliant, highly recommended. Although if the day is (or has recently been) rainy, you will DEFINITELY need to bring or buy seat covers, so leave enough time if you want to buy!
Only open for the summer season and open to the elements, but one of the most atmospheric theatres in London. The park blends into the stage , the trees are the wings, every seat is a good one.
One of my favourite places in London. Pack a picnic for the park beforehand. You can also order one for inside the grounds of the theatre .
Being the only permanent professional outdoor theatre in the UK, you can get a unique experience here: Each performance has a relationship between performers and audience, regardless of the weather.
Lovely place lovely atmosphere , so romantic and fun .. dont miss in this lovely weather
A great venue and great performances . I was thoroughly amazed by the amazing cast of Jesus Christ Superstar .
Show up at least half an hour early to enjoy the lovely picnic area and decent (£8/person) pre-theatre BBQ
The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess was good, i am so glad we were in the shade otherwise it would have been a dreadful today
Lovely theatre , being open to the elements is really special, but wrap up warm and bring a snack . Love this theatre
A wonderful space that generates a fantastic atmosphere. Jesus Christ Superstar was incredible!
15 July: While the seats and stage are in the open air, the theatre makes a point of never cancelling a show before the start times due to poor weather, and completes 94% of performances each year.
Quite simply the most awesome theatrical experience in London. Hot tip - buy a bottle of Prosecco between two for £19. Comes wtih its own ice bucket.
Good when the weather is clear, but bring a blanket for the edge season as it will get nippy!
Buy or bring everything you want to drink, especially if you have children, as you cannot once they start. Very stupid policy!
Beautiful setting in the trees . Into the Woods & Lord of the Flies superb! Have BBQ beforehand, is just £6. Can't reccommend this place enough!
Bring your own food and drinks. Also, bring a blanket and a hot drink for cold nights.
One of the most beautiful venues in London
Amazing staging and environment.
Great venue.
Fantastic venue !
Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” was the grand opening play in 1932(?)
Very nice, was there on "Jesus Christ superstar "
Enjoy high tea before the show!
Great place... if its not raining!
The weight of this sad time we must obey, speak what we feel, not what we ought to say, the oldest hath bourne the most, but we that are young, have never seen so much, nor never lived so long.
Correction-Food is so good I would recommend eating before getting inside the theatre
If it's rained the day before, bring a plastic bag to sit on to save a wet bottom.
Pride & Prejudice - spectacular! ❤
