This is a hidden gem in Beijing. One of best Japanese Izakaya ! The Sake menu is impressive and Sake are sorted by type with English description. The food is served as tapas sized portion.

Eel Don is indeed great. But I also had a very unimpressive fried dish. So be cautious and stick to popular stuff

My fave easy-eating Japanese restaurant . Great food, even Yebisu beer when in stock. Only failure are the waitresses : inattentive and unbecoming of an otherwise good place. Keep expectations in check.

Everything is great except the position of the nonsmoking seats. WAYYY too cold for the winter season .

Their eel rice is very very good! They even have the Osaka pancake , Yumm!!
