We have eaten here a number of times. The calm chowder was excellent, the baked stuffed shrimp is to die for and there is no room for dessert ever.
Nice sea shanty decor. The fried seafood trio: fried clams , shrimp and sole, is huge and good to share. There is covered outdoor seating .
Absolutely worthwhile visit for the karaoke -- not if you're coming from Yale, the locals may give you a little stink-eye (unless you're a really great performer of course).
Clam chowder in a bread bowl is fantastic. Also enjoyed the clam strips . Portions are biiiig!
Happy hours on Thursday nights bring the best bartenders - Tom & Jess are a riot! All the food is great!
I ordered the shrimp scampi and the pasta was delicious, but the shrimp tasted like soap. The server and manager were excellent about the situation and took it off the bill.
